Description
About MB National King’s North

Arnold Palmer returned in 1996 to redesign this already popular layout and the impressive list of accolades for this course just keeps growing for Myrtle Beach National's Kings North course, which ranks in America's Top 10. Also hailed as one of the Top 100 Courses For Women and named South Carolina's 1997 Course Of The Year, Kings North has four holes featured in The 100 Greatest Holes Along The Grand Strand. Famous for the island green and South Carolina shaped sand traps of Hole 3; the tempting short cut on the island fairway of Hole 6; and the over 40 sand traps guarding the fairway on Hole 18, it is easy to see why this has been the most recognized and requested course on the beach for over 25 years.

Kings North is considered to be one of the most beautiful yet challenging courses along the Grand Strand.  This 18 hole course features tough holes like the par-5 6th that is nicknamed “the Gambler” which contains an island fairway that offers a “risk-reward” path to the green. Then, there’s the island green par-3 12th which is quite tough as well. This hole demands precision because if you go too far left you are met with bunkers, and if you go too far right, then you risk landing in water.

The course ends with the par-4 18th which features 40 bunkers, making the last of your golf round fun yet demanding of focus. If you don’t think about your drive here, then you may find yourself making a bunker shot.
