Reserve your tickets for Derby Day in the Gardens and help to raise money for Brookgreen Gardens. Ladies, find your finest derby hats and pick up seersucker clothing for the gentlemen and spend the day enjoying the gardens. Mint juleps will be served as bluegrass music fills the air. They'll offer themed games, an auction and of course, a place to watch the big race. Tickets are available for $200 per person. Packages are available with drawing tickets and race tickets.

Derby Day in the Gardens will be held from 5-9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5 in the Live Oak Allee near the Pavilion Restaurant at Brookgreen Gardens.

Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture in an outdoor setting by American artists in the world and has the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums on the coast of the Carolinas. Founded in 1931, the expansive gardens offer festivals, exhibits and evetns year-round.
