This hotel on the south side of Myrtle Beach is deceptively impressive. The small covered pool area is actually a water wonderland. The covered roof is retractable, so you get sun or protection from the rainy one. Two waterslides let out in the indoor area, which also features hot tubs, a lazy river and a kids' waterpark with a yellow submarine. But the best is on the oceanside - two big pools, hot tubs and waterslide and the best shuffleboard courts in town.

This three-building complex encompasses a hidden jewel of water-related fun. A pirate theme is pervasive, with a giant pirate ship serving as the centerpiece of a children's water playground and statues of pirates spread throughout the facility. It also includes a long-winding lazy river, longer than a regulation football field. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and is the perfect place to cool off during the summer months. The park has water slides, spray spouts, jets and a giant dump bucket (possibly the largest one at the beach) plus massive pools, a lazy river and whirlpools.

It also features an large outdoor pool and a nice indoor/outdoor bar on the second level that makes it a spot for all seasons.

Also, although not technically part of the property, St. Clement's Beach Bar is a great place to hang out and play beach volleyball with locals.

Perfect for the family that wants to park its car at check-in and not move it again until check-out. The two huge towers have indoor waterparks on both ground floors. The north tower includes two giant waterslides - one twisting trip down the two-story drop and another freefall with a fast splashdown. The south tower has smaller slides, a water playground and a big lazy river. The outdoor facilities are just as nice. With all the fun under two roofs, there's no reason to leave.
