Designed by Tim Cate, Leopards Chase is as scenic as it is enjoyable to play. You will encounter forced carries, some generous landing areas and dramatic elevation changes as you travel the 18 holes. You also will also notice a varied terrain accompanied by stunning natural vistas. The tee positions will accommodate all levels of play with equal risk and reward situations to allow you the best scoring opportunities. Save your delicate touch shots for the undulating greens. The waterfall along No. 18 green will calm and relax you as you finish your round.

"The course was very dry giving up a lot of roll on the drives. Lots of brown on the course, not as lush as its sister courses."
"This was a good track. The real challenge is on the back nine. I am still trying to figure out how to play the 11th hole. Knowing landing areas on the back nine would have been helpful. Starter was very personable."
"From the bag drop to the grill the staff was very friendly and engaging. The ranger came by several times and was equally as friendly. The course while challenging was in very good condition despite the amount of rain in previous weeks. Greens were smooth and well maintained. The Big Cat package should be on everyone's must play list."
"Tees were good, not great. Fairways were good. Greens looked great, but played slow and soft. And I don't think they were slow due to rain. Just plain soft, but they putted true. It was a very busy day at the club, but the entire staff was great! Delicious breakfast sandwich. Fairways are a little tight (at least for this 12 handicap). I enjoyed Leopard's Chase and recommend it. It's not quite as good as Tiger's Eye, but it's one of the best on the NC side of Myrtle."
"This is a fun course, but I felt mistreated. The starters were nice guys, but they pushed our tee time back about an hour to allow SLOW members without tee times to tee off before our group. This made two of our group of 7 to have to leave 2 holes early to make their flight, and cost the course the money for the other 5 guys to replay 9 holes. Also, it was disappointing to not be allowed to drive the carts on the fairways. All the other courses we played that week had overseeded the fairways earlier, and we were allowed to drive on the fairways just fine by the week we played. It sounds like the groundskeepers must have planned to overseed too late."
"The staff and people we met were very friendly. We did not like that we had to ride only in the rough on the cart path side due to seeding the fairways. We try to understand that this is necessary. We would have liked to know this prior to playing. The most difficult of the Cats. On par or better landscaping than Tigers Eye. I love the use of waste bunkers as cart paths. The rough was cut to low."
"Will not play again, layout is very nice course condition is awful."
"A fantastic course even though fairly difficult for the average golfer...wind was quite gusty so made play even more difficult but it was truly a beautiful course and we will definitely play again one day..."
"Original tee time in AM but raining. The Pro Shop rescheduled for PM start which was appreciated but we had to play the last hole in the dark."
"Clubhouse was small. Course was soaked due to heavy rains."
"Staff was fairly nice as we played this course on June 29th. Nothing spectacular about the pro shop except the lady working the counter. The course is brutal. Bunkers everywhere, but tee to green in great shape. Will be playing it real soon."
