Broadway at the Beach has been providing top-notch shopping, entertainment, and dining to the Myrtle Beach area for over 20 years. Since 2016, this popular attraction has been making changes to the property in order to give new life to the establishment as well as keep locals and vacationers interested in new attractions and restaurants. While 2016 was huge for changes at Broadway at the Beach, many renovations are still being made throughout 2017. From new restaurants to exterior facelifts, check out what’s changing at Broadway at the Beach for 2017:

Celebrity Square, the longtime nightlife hub of Broadway at the Beach, is getting a new name to go along with its new look. Now called “The Avenue,” the area features a design inspired by the architectural style of a repurposed warehouse. The Avenue is home to Dave & Buster’s, Hard Rock Cafe, American Tap House and Wahlburgers.

Dave & Buster's Open

Dave & Buster’s opened June 5, 2017. The 40,000-square-foot arcade/restaurant/bar welcomed its first guests in the days leading up to the Grand Opening and has quickly become a fan favorite. 

Moves complete

Hard Rock Cafe moved to the corner of The Avenue, replacing Broadway Louie’s, which moved to the old Country Roads Bar & Grill (or Blarney Stones if you’re old school) location.

Wahlburgers Is Open

Wahlburgers Is Open

Hamburger chain Wahlburgers, owned by the famous Wahlberg brothers and subject of a TV reality show, opened in late 2016. The chain serves up burgers, sandwiches and drinks opposite Hard Rock Cafe on the corner of The Avenue (formerly known as Celebrity Square).

Paula Deen's Family Kitchen

Paula Deen's Family Kitchen

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen opened June 12, 2017. It is the chain’s second location; the first is in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. With the tagline “Sand, Surf, and Southern Cooking,” the eatery will be a hit with Myrtle Beach locals and visitors.

Carolina Ale House

Carolina Ale House

Carolina Ale House, a restaurant chain specializing in cold beer and pub grub, is located where Planet Hollywood once stood. Carolina Ale House opened June 12, 2017.
