Surf Diner offers wide variety on Surfside Beach pier

Surf Diner at the Surfside Beach Pier serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

The Surfside Beach Pier is once again home to a restaurant with the recent opening of Surf Diner in June.

Surf Diner, which is at the former Nibil's Restaurant location, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere.

The extensive menu includes soups and salads, pasta, burgers and many grilled and fried seafood selections.

Unique items include the Carolina BBQ Tacos (stuffed with pulled pork, cole slaw and cheddar cheese with sweet BBQ sauce), the Portobello Tower (grilled marinated portobello caps and Yukon mashed potatoes with an asiago cheese sauce and veggie of the day), and the Crabby Abby burger (layered with crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion).

Traditional offerings such as Philly cheesesteak, fried seafood baskets, BBQ sandwich, ruebens and BLT are also featured.

Surf Diner, 11 S. Ocean Blvd., Surfside Beach, is open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
