Unfortunately, Myrtle Beach is on the east coast of the United States, so those hoping for an evening stroll to catch the sunset over the water will be disappointed (not so for you early risers!). Nevertheless, walking along the beach at duck or dawn can be very soothing.

Since you’re already doing some walking, why not go beyond the beach? Myrtle Beach features two state parks complete with bike and nature trails. Catch a Show
Myrtle Beach also has some of the best live entertainment around. The Carolina Opry and Alabama Theatre are area favorites, showcasing world class entertainers and cutting edge shows. The House of Blues always has great artists playing.
