Good Vibrations

Good Vibrations

Go back in time this week with Good Vibrations at the Carolina Opry. The show is performed live at 7:30 p.m. throughout the summer on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays. The show is full of music from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Enjoy the decades of great music with Good Vibrations. This is an event that all ages can enjoy together.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will play on their home field, TicketsReturn.com Field, this week Monday through Thursday against the Wilmington Blue Rocks. On Monday, kids eat free, and on Wednesday, all hot dogs are $1 each. Thursday will be filled with several activities during and after the game: Dark Knight Jersey Auction, fireworks, and Thirsty Thursday. All games start at 7:05 p.m. this week; get your tickets now and cheer the Myrtle Beach Pelicans to victory.

2012 Mustang Week

2012 Mustang Week is on the move Monday through Sunday in Myrtle Beach. The participants are ready to start their week with a bang with a meet and greet at the Palace Theatre. In addition to the annual car show at the Myrtle Beach Mall, activities include Myrtle Beach Autocross, Circle Track Fun Runs and Burnout Contest, and the Southeast’s largest Mustang and SVT cruise- in. Come out, take a look and have good day while you gaze at some pretty extraordinary cars.

BODIES REVEALED

If you are looking for a great way to educate students or your children about the human body and how to keep it healthy, check out Bodies Revealed at Broadway at the Beach. This is a way to learn and have fun at the same time. The exhibit is equipped with 14 real human specimens. The exhibit’s focus is on the function of the human body and the different effects lifestyles and diseases can have on the human body. Bodies Revealed is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $14 for adults, $10 for children 4-12 years of age, $12 for seniors at the age of 60 and above. Students and military personnel can receive discounted prices with ID. Audio guides are available for an additional $5.

Troy Thirgill at Comedy Cabana

Troy Thirgill at Comedy Cabana

Get your laugh on with Troy Thirdgill at Comedy Cabana in North Myrtle Beach Monday through Sunday this week. Thirdgill has made appearances across the country and internationally. His TV appearances include the “Martin”, “In Living Color” and “Beverly Hills 90210.” Tickets can be purchased online or in person at Comedy Cabana show office.

Broadway at the Beach Summer Entertainment- Broken Strings

If you want to enjoy live music, come to Broadway at the Beach from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday for live entertainment from Broken String on the patio of WonderWorks. Admission for this event is free of charge. Enjoy the scenery and the different attractions in the surrounding area while you get lost in the music of Broken Strings.
