America’s finest basketball tournament wraps up its 30th year at the beach. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center will host the final leg of this year’s Beach Ball Classic from December 26-31. Burn off some of those calories you inhaled over the holidays by running in the 5th annual Prediction Run on January 1. The Market Common will play host to this unique race where you get to predict the time you’ll complete the course. Prizes will be awarded to the male and female that comes the closest to guessing their finishing time.
Do something special for the kids for New Year’s Eve this year! Frank Theatres, The Children’s Museum of South Carolina and Ripley’s Aquarium each have events for the younger bunch to help them celebrate a new year. Be sure to make reservations for each event.
Calvin Gilmore presents a unique show with LIGHT Laser Extravaganza Holiday Special. Just because Christmas has passed doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your favorite holiday songs. The types of lasers used in the amazing show have been seen on tour with Madonna and Pink Floyd. Catch a show Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday.
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland invites you to celebrate Christmas for just a little longer. The drive-through LED light show is set to Christmas carols and is the only one of its kind in Myrtle Beach. The magical exhibit will be open every day at 6 p.m. through January 8. It’s located in the parking lot of BB&T Coastal Field.
