Legends In Concert
Legends in Concert features some of the finest tribute artists to some of the biggest names in show business. Show times start at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This season’s tributes include Elvis Presley, Brittany Spears, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder and Steven Tyler.
Carl Michael Grand Illusions and Magic Show
The Landmark Resort presents Carl Michael Grand Illusions and Magic Show at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 16 and Monday, Aug. 20. The show is appropriate for all ages to watch and enjoy. General admission for adults is $20 and admission for children is $10. All Landmark Resort guests will receive $5 off each ticket purchased. Come and enjoy a night of illusion with Carl Michael and the Landmark Resort Hotel.
Free Kids' Movies at The Market Common
Enjoy the 2012 Free Kids’ Movies at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach. Catch Dr. Seuss’s the Lorax from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Thursday at the Grand 12 Cinema. Admission is free for everyone and $1 drinks and $1 popcorns will be available for purchase at the show.
13th annual Guy Daniels Surfoff
The Guy Daniels Memorial Foundation presents the 13th annual Guy Daniels Surfoff at 8 a.m. Saturday through Sunday on 13th Avenue South in Surfside Beach. Guy Daniels was a Surfside Beach native and a student at the College of Charleston, who died in 1999 after collapsing while running on the beach. The foundation has awarded over $53,000 in scholarships to local students for educational purposes. Enjoy the beach and help make a difference by riding the waves at the surfoff.
Simplified at The Boathouse Free Summer Concert Series
The Boathouse Summer Concert Series presents the band Simplified at 8 p.m. Sunday. Simplified is a band from Charlotte, N.C., known for collaborative sound of different genres. The concert is free and will make a great night out with some friends.
SummerFest Fireworks at Barefoot Landing
SummerFest Fireworks will start 10:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. This event is free so grab the family and enjoy a vivid display of fireworks; it's a great event for everyone to enjoy during a night out.
