Dinosaurs The Exhibition Coming to Broadway at the Beach

What if dinosaurs came back to life and started roaming around at Broadway at the Beach? Spoiler alert – they have, and the life-size replicas will be here in March for everyone to go check out.

Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus – the whole gang will be there!

The exhibition coincides with Broadway’s 20th anniversary, and the staff is hoping that the dinosaurs will be one of the most popular attractions they’ve ever had.

“We are excited to be introducing a big attraction like the Dinosaur Exhibition at Broadway at the Beach this year,” said Melissa Armstrong, Broadway’s Director of Marketing. “Broadway has been the center of fun in Myrtle Beach, and each year we work hard to introduce new and exciting offerings for our guests to experience and enjoy.”

The collection of pre-historic animals will feature 25 animatronic replicas that have been programmed to move and roar, recreating the look and feel of the giant creatures. The exhibition, which also features re-creations of real-life settings, spent a couple of years touring Europe and wowing crowds overseas before returning stateside.

“The exhibition has enjoyed unbelievable success since its inception,” said Jay Lodge, CEO of Spirit Touring. “Broadway at the Beach was a natural fit due to it being the number one entertainment and attraction destination in South Carolina, attracting millions of visitors every year. It’s a one-of-a-kind family fun interactive educational experience that is not to be missed.”

Dinosaurs The Exhibition will occupy the Boat Building between Ripley’s Aquarium and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, opening March 16th and continuing through August. Admission will be $14.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids, $44.95 for families (2 adults, 2 kids), with discounted rates available for groups of 15 ($12 adults/$8 kids) and 50 ($7.50).
