2012 Mustang Week Myrtle Beach Schedule of Events



Mustang Week is slated for July 16- 22, 2012 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Get ready for meet-n-greet opportunities, a car show, cruise in and other revved up events. Here’s a quick look at what’s planned for Mustang Week 2012.

Mustang Week VIP Party: Ridemakerz at Broadway at the Beach will host a VIP Party for those in town for Mustang Week. 100 people will get a FREE basic stock ride. Explore Ridemakerz and experience one of the 649 million ways to build your own ride. The party will be held on Monday, June 16.

Meet-n-Greet at the Palace: Famed drifting icon, Vaughn Gittin Jr. will sign autographs at the Meet and Greet at the Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach. The meet and greet will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 in the parking lot at the Palace Theatre.

Myrtle Beach Speedway Events: Head over to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for autocross, fun runs around the oval track and a burnout contest. Take your car for a spin and push it to the speed limits. Autocross begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at the track with other events to follow.

Meet & Greet at Hooters: Another quick meet-n-greet is planned at Hooter’s at 10133 North Kings Highway before the group heads out on a cruise to Darlington and Darlington Drag Night. Meet up any time before noon on Thursday, July 19 and then head west to Darlington. 

9th annual car show: The 9th annual Mustang Week Car Show will be held at the Myrtle Beach Mall. Last year’s show brought in over 600 cars and this year is looking even better. Mustangs and SVTs will be judged and awarded prizes based on cleanliness and quality. The show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 19.

Mustang Cruise In: Wrap up Mustang Week 2012 during the East Coast’s Largest Mustang and SVT Cruise-in. If you only have time for one event, this is the event you want to see. The cruise-in will run from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at the Myrtle Beach Mall. Be sure to stick around for the car show awards at 3 p.m.
