If you’re visiting the Grand Strand for 4th of July, look no further than this week’s rundown for your one stop info guide on everything red, white and blue for a fantastic Independence Day celebration. There will be fireworks galore along the Grand Strand, including Cherry Grove and Myrtle Beach; parades featuring boats, golf carts and floats decked out in the most patriotic ways possible in Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island and Garden City; a beach-long salute to our nation and those who serve her; a cupcake eating contest for those with a stomach made of steel at Croissants Bistro & Bakery at the Grande Dunes; and, ironically, an Independence Day themed 5k and 8k at the Market Common to kick off the day’s events.

And there’s so much more happening throughout the week, including weekly summer activities and entertainment at Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Brookgreen Gardens; stunning and spectacular theater shows at Alabama Theatre, The Carolina Opry and Legends in Concert; and concerts, including local and national acts!

Check our events page for more details on all of the upcoming events across the Grand Strand for this week and the rest of the summer!
